Welcome to Language Land, a private speech and language therapy service dedicated to supporting children from 3 months to 10 years of age. We understand that every child develops at their own pace, which is why we offer individualized, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each child's unique strengths and needs. About Us
I’m Amanda Kearns, and I have nearly a decade of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP).
I hold extensive licensure through New York State and possess my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Additionally, I have a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification and have received training in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT).

My career was inspired by my personal experiences with family members effected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
My younger brother, has non-verbal ASD, which has provided me with a unique understanding, insight, and perspective.
Throughout my career, I have recognized the necessity for intensive and individualized speech and language therapy interventions without the use of technology and screens, unless used for communicative purposes.
